Tuca and Bertie – Sunday, July 10

United Shades of America With W. Kamau Bell – Sunday, July 10
W. Kamau Bell’s docuseries is back for a seventh season. Bell continues to explore race, class, and culture as he visits different communities across the country. United Shades of America With W. Kamau Bell premieres Sunday, July 10 at 10/9c on CNN.
Season description: This season on United Shades of America, Bell travels to Appalachia, exploring the significant and largely unknown population of Black Americans who call the area home; to Boston, examining the mental health issues affecting the sport world; to Bell’s home state of California, an area plagued by constant wildfires, discovering how communities have learned to coexist with this frequent destruction; to Hawaii, uncovering how the island has been commodified by an exploitative tourism industry following the COVID-19 pandemic; to New York City as he discusses Asian American representation in film and media, revealing the commonality between his own experience and theirs; to the Black Hills of South Dakota, surveying the Landback Campaign organized by Indigenous peoples of the region; and to Maricopa County in Arizona as he investigates the origins of “wokeness” and how the word “woke” has become politicized and enmeshed in the ideological debate over how the history of the United States is taught in schools.
Women Who Rock – Sunday, July 10

Starting with the 1950s, EPIX’s new docuseries, Women Who Rock, highlights the long and sometimes overlooked history of women in popular music. Women Who Rock premieres Sunday, July 10 at 9/8c on EPIX.
Series description: This EPIX original docuseries, from John Varvatos and Derik Murray’s Network Entertainment, pays homage to women pioneers in music who have stormed the stage, wielded their instruments, amplified their voices, and sung the soundtrack of our lives. In their own words, generations of iconic women artists discuss truth, defiance, artistic expression, hard-won success, and most importantly, the insights and tales behind their timeless music. The docuseries features original interviews with Nancy Wilson, Shania Twain, Chaka Khan, Pat Benatar, Mavis Staples, Sheryl Crow, Sheila E., Macy Gray, Rickie Lee Jones, Norah Jones, Aimee Mann, Tori Amos, Kate Pierson, Tina Weymouth, St. Vincent, Jody Watley, and Nona Hendryx.
Better Call Saul – Monday, July 11

The celebrated prequel returns for the back half of its sixth and final season. In the series’ last six episodes, viewers will see the conclusion of how Jimmy McGill became Breaking Bad’s fan-favorite criminal lawyer, Saul Goodman. Better Call Saul returns Monday, July 11 at 9/8c on AMC.
Episode description: An Unexpected visitor forces Jimmy and Kim to face the consequences of their actions.
Chad – Monday, July 11

Initially scheduled for April, Chad Season 2 is finally making it to TV screens this week. Chad starts his sophomore year surrounded by a scandal that will end his presidency before he even has a chance to get started. Chad Season 2 begins Monday, July 11 at 10/9c on TBS.
Season description: In this hilarious second season, Chad deals with a scandal that quickly ends his presidency, has a surprising new love interest, and gets a visit from his tough-as-nails Iranian grandmother – all while continuing to worry about his popularity, and discovering new ways to relate to his Persian cultural roots. Chad’s epic path to teenage self-realization is not always a straight line–but the support from his family and best friend Peter (Jake Ryan) keep Chad on track, giving him the confidence to help him become who he has always wanted to be – the most American boy in the history of the world.
What We Do in the Shadows – Tuesday, July 12

After going their separate ways on What We Do in the Shadows Season 3 Episode 10, “The Portrait,” the vampires reunite for Season 4 with 2 new episodes. What We Do in the Shadows airs Tuesday, July 12 at 10/9c on FX.
Episode 1 description: The vampires return from their world travels to find their mansion on the verge of collapse and a freakish new creature in the house.
Episode 2 description: Nandor’s search for love is finally successful; Nadja realizes her lifelong ambition of opening a vampire nightclub.
Everything’s Trash – Wednesday, July 12

Freeform’s new comedy hits TV screens with a two-episode premiere. The series stars comedian Phoebe Robinson, who is also the series creator and an executive producer. Everything’s Trash premieres Wednesday, July 13 at 10/9c on Freeform.
Series description: Everything’s Trash” follows Phoebe, a 30-something podcast star navigating her messy life. Forced to grow up when her older brother Jayden emerges as a leading political candidate, she relies on her friends and close-knit family to help her figure out adulthood.
Ms. Marvel – Wednesday, July 13

Ms. Marvel wraps up the origin story of the show’s titular character and Marvel’s newest hero. Ms. Marvel Season 1 Episode 5, “Time and Again,” ended on a huge cliffhanger that set the stage for an exciting season finale as Kamala must face off with Damage Control to save her friends. Ms. Marvel concludes Wednesday, July 13, on Disney+.
Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight – Thursday, July 14

Jack Black reprises his role as Po from the popular Kung Fu Panda movie franchise for a new animated series. Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight drops Thursday, July 14, on Netflix.
Series description: When a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade. Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction — and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way.
Love Accidentally – Friday, July 15

Brenda Song and Aaron O’Connell star in this rom-com about finding love where you least expect it. Love Accidentally premieres Friday, July 15, on Amazon Prime.
Movie description: Capable, experienced Alexa and smooth-talking newcomer Jason are competing for a senior position at a high-powered advertising firm when each of their significant others breaks up with them. Thinking she’s confiding in a friend, Alexa sends a ‘broken heart’ text to Jason by mistake. The two spark up a phone-only relationship, with neither daring to ask who the other really is, and grow ever closer as they support each other through work problems and heartache.
