Disney+ Releases Trailer and Summer Premiere Date for ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’

News, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

Tatiana Maslany gets angry in our first look at Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

The comedy series will follow Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, a big-shot lawyer specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases, as she navigates “the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.”

The first season will consist of nine episodes and welcome several Marvel Cinematic Universe veterans, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong.

Yes, our Sorcerer Supreme is making the trip to the small screen!

Rounding out this hulking ensemble is Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro, and Jessica Gao will be executive producers on the project. Kat Coiro will direct Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9; Anu Valia will direct Episodes 5, 6, and 7 with Jessica Gao as head writer.

She-Hulk will premiere on August 17, with the procedural comedy joining Marvel’s packed summer slate alongside Ms. Marvel and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Kevin Feige and Tatiana Maslany debuted the trailer at The Walt Disney Company’s 2022 Upfront presentation, giving fans our first look at Walters’ green alter ego in action.

She-Hulk teases an unconventional superhero project with all the trappings of a modern-day romantic comedy and the edge of a procedural courtroom drama.

The genre-busting show will focus on the Hulk persona Jen is eager to embrace, but it will also see a woman in her thirties juggle the pressures of a demanding career and the shortcomings of online dating.

There are some questionable special effects, but one hopes the show can iron out those kinks and do this female-led project justice. That said, if Matt Murdock’s dating profile does not appear randomly on Jen’s Tinder, I will sue.
