A First Look at ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 2

Only Murders in the Building, Previews

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 finds Charles, Oliver, and Mabel at the center of a murder investigation. They’re the prime suspects, which is great for their podcast but not so great for their personal lives.

As if being suspects wasn’t bad enough, someone’s framing them for Bunny’s murder!

Evidence keeps showing up in their apartments, and it’s only a matter of time until the police catch them with something they shouldn’t have, and then it’ll be next to impossible to explain their way out of it.

There are quite a few people who aren’t thrilled with Charles, Oliver, and Mabel, and if we had to pick the two most likely candidates, it would be Jan and Teddy. But they don’t really have any motive, that we know of, for killing Bunny. Jan also has the alibi of being incarcerated during the time of the murder.

Charles, Oliver, and Mabel also aren’t the most popular tenants in the building, so anyone could be behind the frame job.

Needless to say, there’s no shortage of mysteries for Charles, Oliver, and Mabel to unravel in their podcast this season. First things first, Oliver has to get back all the podcasting equipment he returned.

Let’s just hope our trio manages to avoid jail time.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 premieres with two episodes on Tuesday, June 28 on Hulu with new episodes releasing weekly. The series is co-created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman. Martin and Hoffman also serve as executive producers on the series, along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal.

Season Description: Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver & Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue — the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder.
