‘The Wilds’ Season 2 Trailer Released by Prime Video

It’s been a long time coming, The Wilds fans!

If you found this gem of a show back in 2020, you’ve been eagerly awaiting any news of The Wilds Season 2 since news broke of its renewal just days after its premiere.

Prime Video previously announced the sophomore season would debut on May 6, 2022, and we finally have a full-length trailer that is cluing us into what we can expect.

When we left the Unsinkable Eight in The Wilds Season 1 finale, we were on the edge of two separate cliffhangers — one for the Island timeline and another for the bunker timeline.

On the Island, Leah was storming back to the beach after Nora trapped her after Leah discovered her communicating with Gretchen’s research team. Unfortunately, the Reid twins were apparently mid-shark attack, and we don’t know that they both survived.

In the bunker, Shelby (Shelbald) was having some sort of allergic reaction, clearing the hallways for Leah to run free. But, instead of finding an exit, she finds a room with computer screens showing footage of ANOTHER island — full of boys.

Much has been speculated about the timing of the girls’ and boys’ islands. It looks like the new The Wilds Season 2 trailer is busting some of the theories floating around.

We’re excited to see what’s next for the girls and even see how the island life affected the boys. It looks like a lot of crazy will go down — for both experimental groups.

The Wilds Season 2 description: Survival hangs in the balance for the group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, after the explosive discovery that what’s happening to them is an elaborate social experiment. This season ups the drama and keeps you guessing, with the introduction of more test subjects—another island of teenage boys—who must also fight for survival under the watchful eye of the experiment’s puppet master.

The series stars Rachel Griffiths, Sophia Ali, Shannon Berry, Jenna Clause, Reign Edwards, Mia Healey, Helena Howard, Erana James, and Sarah Pidgeon.

Joining the cast for The Wilds Season 2 are Charles Alexander, Zach Calderon, Nicholas Coombe, Alex Fitzalan, Miles Guiterrez-Riley, Aidan Laprete, Tanner Ray Rook, and Reed Shannon.
