Preview — Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode 6: Two for One

Reviews, Star Trek: Picard

With last week’s reveal that Picard’s ancestor is the key to Q’s plan to change the future, Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode 6, “Two for One” will see the team infiltrate a swanky gala in the hopes of keeping her safe.

Renee Picard, it turns out, is a key part of the Europa mission that will ultimately find proof of sentient life in the universe. And changing this discovery—whether in time or type–is apparently enough to shift the future into a dystopian nightmare.

Not content with just meddling with Renee’s mental state, Q has also been seeking the assistance of one Dr. Adam Soong, a geneticist ancestor of the very same Soongs who would later go on to create Data as well as synth technology.

This Dr. Soong struggling to keep his daughter (who’s suffering from a rare medical condition) alive and every willing to bend some ethics rules to do so.

Why he’s the right person for Q to loop into his plan I anyone’s guess. (Surely almost any other random person might be easier?) But hopefully, we’ll start to get some answers this week.

Check out the photos and promo video below for a preview!
