The promo video picks up mere seconds after the end of Station 19 Season 5 Episode 14, “Alone in the Dark,” when Jeremy assaulted Andy outside of Joe’s Bar.
Andy finds her team — her family –, and they are concerned about her since she is visibly and understandably shaken up from the incident.
If the few pictures are any sign, Andy then goes to 19 to make a statement to the police. Unsurprisingly, the officer questions Andy’s use of self-defense by suggesting Jeremy’s physical assault doesn’t qualify as an actual assault.
It’s sickening for someone to suggest such a thing, making it devastating and infuriating for Andy to need to justify her already justified actions. She is not in the wrong here — Jeremy is.
As for Jeremy, his life is apparently holding on by a thread when 19 takes him to Grey Sloan for evaluation. In the promo video, Sullivan tells Grey’s Anatomy‘s Teddy Altman that Jeremy needs to survive or Andy killed him.
As if the stakes of “When the Party’s Over” weren’t high enough already…
