Ghosts’ Final Two Episodes Scare Up Proms, Viking Curses, and More Spooky Surprises

The final two episodes of Ghosts are upon us!

The spooky sitcom has scared up plenty of laughs during its inaugural season. But fear not, for the season plans to go out in a blazing glory with extravagant parties, wicked curses, and more of the ghost gang we love.

This season’s final episodes will air back-to-back on April 14 and 21, with the CBS series set to return for Season 2 in the fall.

On April 14, Ghosts Season 1 Episode 17, “Attic Girl,” will see the comedy’s gothic manor transformed as the house bands together to throw a “Ghost Prom” — or accidentally reenact the plot of a horror movie. We all know it could go either way.

It will be a night to remember with Sam and Jay sporting some elegant attire and the spirits making the most of their afterlife with a few slow dances.

The party kicks off with the awakening of Stephanie, a teenage ghost from the 1980s who died on her prom night and now resides in the manor’s attic. The arrival of this “mean girl” will force Sam to face the unresolved trauma of her prom night.

The special occasion will also reveal a new power for Alberta because if any ghost possesses multiple talents, it’s this iconic woman.

Episode Description for “Attic Girl”: An ’80’s “mean girl” ghost, Stephanie (Odessa A’Zion), who died on her prom night, is awakened in the attic, triggering Sam to confront what happened on her own prom night. Also, Alberta discovers she has another special gift.

On April 21, Ghosts Season 1 Episode 18, “Farnsby & B,” looks to close out this season with a Viking-sized finale!

Jay and Sam are ready to open their bed and breakfast, unleashing a hoard of bored ghosts on unexpecting guests. But Thor’s pettiness comes back to bite them when a competing B&B reveals itself as the byproduct of a nasty Norse curse.

The revelation that Thor’s curses aren’t just empty threats does not bode well for Sam and Jay’s unborn child, but they have their hands full with these chaotic ghosts anyways.

On a more positive note, fans will see Isaac work up the courage to take a huge step forward in his personal life — with Nigel, perhaps?

Episode Description for “Farnsby & B”: As they await the arrival of their first official guests, Sam and Jay must face the obstacles set by a competing B&B triggered by a Norse curse placed upon them by Thorfinn before he got to know them. Also, Isaac takes a huge, centuries-in-the-making step in his personal life.

But could these final episodes have a few spooky surprises up their sleeves?

We recently spoke with Asher Grodman about whether Trevor will continue to surprise us now that his biggest mystery is solved, and the actor assured us that he would. More specifically, Ghosts will continue to keep us guessing because this show is just that good.

“Typically, you read the pilot, like, ‘Okay, I know where you’re going with this.’ When I read Ghosts, there was an infinite number of possibilities; you cannot predict where our writers are going. When you have good writing, that’s a perk, and I think you will keep being surprised,” Grodman confirmed.

As for Isaac’s “centuries-in-the-making step,” Brandon Scott Jones revealed in a separate interview that a reunion between Isaac and Nigel could also be in the show’s near future.

“I can tell you that I know we’ll see Nigel again,” Jones teased. However, he explained that Isaac’s journey to accepting his sexuality will take time, “250 years is already a slow burn, so I think it’s going to keep going at that pace.”
