Ghosts, Interviews, PaleyFest

Everyone’s favorite ghosts were on the red carpet last week for PaleyFest 2022.

The CBS comedy Ghosts has won audiences over quickly, and the chemistry among the show’s cast is clearly one of the reasons for the show’s success.

We caught up with Devan Chandler Long, who plays Thorfinn, to discuss what he loves most about working on the series and what we can expect from the relationship between his character and Flower. (You can watch the full video below.)

Long said his favorite thing about working on Ghosts is how everyone on the show has become like family. He likened the group’s teamwork to the same kind of teamwork and camaraderie he experienced playing football growing up.

“We’re best friends. We work together — we all come together and have this synergistic vibe. And I just am so grateful to be on a team with beautiful people like this, with so much talent, and [these] eccentric characters. It’s a dream come true,” Long said.

Offering up his best Thor voice for just a moment, Long then shared what he loved most about his character on the series.

“My favorite thing about Thor is, the fact that he’s so primal,” Long said. “He just does whatever he wants. Thor just lives in the moment, you know?”

If you’re caught up on the series, you know there’s a bit of romance brewing between Thor and another ghost on the series: Flower, played by Sheila Carrasco. Long hinted that we’d see that continue with Ghosts Season 1 Episode 17, “Attic Girl.”

“I mean, there’s a prom coming up,” he noted. “You’re going to prom, you gotta have a date. Thor’s gonna try to find a date!”
