Preview — This Is Us Season 6 Episode 9: The Hill
The turning point in Kate and Toby’s story has come.
This Is Us Season 6 Episode 9, “The Hill,” is the seasonal Kate Pearson special we were promised. But, like most of Kate’s stories these days, the singer’s future will seemingly be determined by the state of her relationship with Toby.
So, we leave the bustle of LA behind for a romantic work trip to San Fransisco with the two — but we know by now that this getaway will be anything but romantic.
Toby, immersed in his flashy new job, struggles to connect with the shreds of his past while Kate grapples with the fact the man she married all those years ago is different.
The two have a lot to figure out during their time away, and one can only hope it brings some closure to this series-long struggle for the couple and viewers eager to embrace them.
This is Kate’s story just as much as Kevin and Randall’s. Only time will tell if This Is Us is willing to let her have her happy ending.
