The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey nears its conclusion with its penultimate episode, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey Season 1 Episode 5, “Nina.”
When left Ptolemy on The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey Season 1 Episode 4, “Coydog” the pieces of the puzzle had started to fall into place. We found out all about Coydog’s treasure and what had happened to it in the years since Coydog placed it in that well.
A suspect in Reggie’s murder was also revealed as Ptolemy learned that Reggie’s wife — Nina — had been in contact with a violent ex that was recently released from prison.
The picture is becoming clearer but how long will they stay that way for Ptolemy?
The episode description for “Nina” suggests that Ptolemy is preparing for what happens when the treatment wears off, looking for ways to protect Robyn when he can’t and saying a final goodbye to Reggie.
One way or another it’s the beginning of the end for both the series and the character. Ptolemy still has a lot of unfinished business heading into “Nina,” though. Will he be able to check off all the items on his to-do list before it’s too late?
