Preview — Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 8: Into Oblivion
Everyone faces big changes as the impending crisis of the Inverse World intensifies on Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 8, “Into Oblivion.”
First and foremost, John Henry’s behavior is noticeably different after his accident, causing some reason for concern with his friends and family.
It’s not irrational to believe a traumatic event would create changes in John Henry’s behavior. But, it is curious that such changes worry Lois, Clark, and Natalie. Hopefully, John Henry’s small but strong support system can help him however he needs.
Since all the arcs continue to fold into each other, there’s a great chance John Henry’s change in behavior could be tied to the Inverse World. There’s no telling where Anderson and Ally Allston will take their evil schemes now that they’re teamed up.
Meanwhile, Lana and Kyle are in the same room (on-screen) for the first time since their separation, and it may get understandably awkward. But, like John Henry, Lana has a small but strong support system, so it’s comforting to know she has them to lean on no matter the fallout with Kyle.
Plus, Jonathan and Jordan prepare for a potentially tense conversation with their parents. They don’t need superpowers to sense that. After everything the boys have been up to, it’s not shocking that such a pivotal talk is happening now.

Episode description: Lois, Clark, and Natalie notice a difference in John Henry’s behavior and fear something might be very wrong. Meanwhile, Kyle encounters an awkward moment with Lana while stopping by the house to pick Sarah up for school. Lastly, Jonathan and Jordan brace themselves when they realize a talking to from their parents is headed their way.
