Severide’s life is literally hanging in the balance on Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 14, “An Officer with Grit.” He attempts a daring rescue on a dangerous call, though that fact alone doesn’t exactly feel surprising.

Meanwhile, Kidd takes a step toward advancing her career, and Chief Hawkins does more than he has to in order to help Brett and Violet.
