Bridgerton Season 2 Trailer: The Viscount Searches for A Wife
“This is the season the Viscount intends to find a wife.”
Violet Bridgerton knows exactly what she’s doing by making that declaration loud enough for all the women, and their mothers, to hear while walking into a ball. She helped nudge Daphne and Simon together during Bridgerton Season 1, so Violet has a pretty good track record.
Bridgerton Season 2 follows Anthony’s search for the perfect woman to be his wife. He’s looking for a woman to care for his family and serve as Viscountess, so he is relying on his head instead of his… heart. Meanwhile, newcomer Edwina Sharma is searching more with her heart.
Luckily for Edwina, and unlikely for Anthony, her sister Kate is there to screen all potential suitors, making sure only the best of the best get to spend time with Edwina. As the trailer shows, Kate does her best to make things difficult for Anthony, causing some sparks to fly.
The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the heavily anticipated pall mall scene. The Bridgertons competitively playing a game for sibling bragging rights is one thing, but throw in Kate and Edwina, and it is sure to be an all-around entertaining game.
