JoJo Joins ‘All American’ for Season 4 Recurring Role
The All American universe continues to expand. According to Deadline, singer/songwriter JoJo will officially be joining the All American cast in a Season 4 recurring role.
She is slated to debut as early as February 21st when the show returns with its midseason premiere.
JoJo, born Joanna Levesque, will have a recurring role as world-famous recording artist Sabine — a “rare talent who knows what she wants, and has the name and reputation make it happen.”
Much like JoJo in real life, Sabine has been making music since she was 10 years old, and her desire for a new sound leads her to pair up with fresh new producer Layla Keating.

JoJo herself has been working in music for the past two decades, first finding her way to the charts with her breakout single “Leave (Get Out),” a song that made her the youngest-ever solo artist to debut in the US with a #1 single.
She went Platinum on that first record, selling over 4 million copies. Following her debut came a slew of hits, including the infamous “Too Little Too Late.”
Her 2021 project “Trying Not To Think About It” focuses heavily on mental health.
That kind of poignant approach to music makes her the perfect pairing for a character like All American’s Layla, who has struggled with depression for the majority of her time on the show.
Layla has been using music production as a way to cope with her past traumas, and Sabine may be the perfect character to help her along on her healing journey.
JoJo is slated to embark on a massive world tour in 2022, but that won’t stop the powerhouse from making a pit stop along the way to join the All American family for the back half of its fourth season.
