Arielle Kebbel Joins the Cast of ‘9-1-1’
Hold onto your firefighting gear! There’s a new firefighter in town! When FOX’s hit drama, 9-1-1, returns on Monday, March 21st, Arielle Kebbel will be joining the cast as a major recurring character.
According to Deadline, “Kebbel will play Lucy Donato, an LAFD Firefighter working at rival firehouse 147, but joins together with the 118 for a daring rescue. Lucy is super confident, fearless.”
Lucy’s quick way of making life or death decisions and speaking her mind makes her the daredevil counterpart to Buck.

It sounds like fan-favorite Evan “Buck” Buckley is about to meet his match. The introduction of this fearless female firefighter is bound to stir up some drama and create a dynamic shift like the show has never seen before.
Since we know the 118 is gaining two new members in the second half of Season 5, it’s quite possible Lucy could end up joining the 118 instead of staying at her current house.
This spring premiere shake-up is going to definitely keep us on our toes. After all, Eddie Diaz announced he was leaving the 118 at the end of 9-1-1 Season 5 Episode 10, “Wrapped In Red,” which leaves room for more characters to come into focus with the team.

Along with the addition of Kebbel to the 9-1-1 mid-season premiere, viewers can also expect to see Bobby and Athena racing to save a family whose pickup truck has a bomb attached to it which will detonate if the car goes below 55 MPH.
Meanwhile, Eddie struggles with the transition to his new job and Buck makes an impulsive decision regarding his relationship.
You may recognize Arielle Kebbel from her role in the film John Tucker Must Die as well as her roles in the third and fourth installments of the After film series on Netflix. In the world of TV, Kebbel turned heads as Lexi on The Vampire Diaries and more recently as Amelia Sachs on Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector.
