9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 7 Preview: Secrets
The 118 returns from hiatus with 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 7, “Secrets.”
Understandably, much of the promotional material for the episode focuses on Hen’s mysterious health concerns. It’s one of the biggest cliffhangers from 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 6, “Family History,” which aired in November.
In that episode, Hen asked Maddie a few questions but contextualized them to be about a patient. So, Hen mostly keeps everything to herself, not even telling Karen. “Secrets” may change that. The promo video shows Hen telling Athena, “I know I gotta tell them. I’m just not ready for this to be the end of my story.”
There’s always a chance that Hen is talking about something else, continuing to keep the subject of her health a secret. Only time will tell! Ideally, Hen will reach out to someone before things progress even more.
After all, it seems like Hen’s hand tremors are going to continue to impact her work. While responding to a call where a woman is in active labor, Hen has to tell Eddie — to his shock — to glove up.
Not to mention, it seems like her symptoms may escalate at some point during “Secret.” On a different call, the promo video shows Hen pass out after Captain Han (How exciting to write that permanent title for Chimney!) puts her on search and rescue. Essentially, things aren’t looking great for Hen.
Elsewhere, the photos of Buck and Ravi deciding that Eddie needs a night out on the town seem less intense. What will they get up to during that night out? We’ll find out when 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 7, “Secrets,” airs on Thursday, January 8.
