This Is Us Season 6 Episode 3, “Four Fathers,” is all about the daddies of this drama.
The notion of an episode centered entirely around the fathers of This Is Us is an intriguing one, and any chance to return to Jack Pearson in full parenting mode is one worth taking.
It seems Jack will struggle once again to connect with Kevin after the boy runs away during a family trip to the movies.
Jack and Kevin have never had an easy relationship, and the series hasn’t explored the complications of that nearly enough. So here’s to hoping “Four Fathers” is primarily a Kevin and Jack special.
That said, this is a perfect time to focus on the Pearson parents because Kevin just became a father, Randall is struggling with Deja’s thriving sex life, and Toby isn’t exactly killing it in the family department.
The series will also use this parental character study as an excuse to revisit Kate and Toby’s Jack in the future, where he is still in love with Lucy and quite wealthy by the looks of this outdoor barbeque setup.
What could go wrong when the dads are left to their own devices? Most likely, everything.
