Goodbye Pearsons, and hello romantic road trips!
This Is Us Season 6 Episode 2, “One Giant Leap,” takes a break from the Big Three to go on separate but equally romantic road trips with Nicky and Deja.
Deja is packing her bag and leaving to see what fate awaits her and Malik’s relationship in Boston. From what we can see, higher education has only made Malik a better boyfriend, and the two will share a few lovely moments together.
Alas, young love in the hands of This Is Us is never so straightforward and we can expect a few bumps along the way for Deja.
Nicky, on the other hand, is dealing with far more of a romantic mess. He, too, has decided to embark on a journey to reunite with his true love, Sally.
Unfortunately for his two road trip companions, Rebecca and Miguel, Uncle Nicky neglects to mention the part where he never reached out to her, and she has no idea he’s even still alive. Fortunately for us, this encounter is sure to be a riot.
Whatever happens, it cannot be nearly as bad as the broken snowglobe incident. We joke, but there are real tears just thinking about that airport scene.
