Griff goes over Sam’s head to be reinstated as chief of surgery on Good Sam Season 1 Episode 2, “Natural Order.”
It’s bold of Griff to do something like this so soon. But then again, the size of his ego is clearly defined in Good Sam Season 1 Episode 1, “Pilot.”
His decision proves that Good Sam isn’t backing away from this professional rivalry quickly or quietly. Sam and Griff believe they’re the best, and neither doctor will fold.
The professional and the personal continue to blend as Vivian makes her loyalties known. It appears as though it’ll become more awkward when Sam and Malcolm, seemingly on a date, run into Griff.
“Natural Order” isn’t all about amping up the father/daughter rivalry. Ideally, this episode will let us learn more about the residents when Caleb connects with a patient.
