Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of November 14th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to while stuck inside.
This week’s picks include a night with Adele, Yellowjackets debuts, Psych 3: This is Gus threequel, and more.

Adele: One Night Only – Sunday, November 14

Ahead of the singer’s first album since 2015, Adele will be sitting down with Oprah to talk about everything from her new album, her family, and what life has been like since getting divorced. Adele: One Night Only airs Sunday, November 14 at 8:30/7:30c on CBS and Paramount+.
Special Description: CBS presents Adele: One Night Only, a new primetime special with extraordinary performances from the superstar including Adele’s first new material in six years plus her chart-topping hits. The special will also feature an exclusive interview with Adele by Oprah Winfrey from her rose garden, in Adele’s first televised wide-ranging conversation about her new album, the stories behind the songs, life after divorce, weight loss and raising her son.
Yellowjackets – Sunday, November 14

After a plane crash leaves a high school girls’ soccer team dealing with learning how to survive 25 years ago, the survivors are discovering that the danger is not over and is looming. Yellowjackets debuts Sunday, November 14 at 10/9c on Showtime.
Series Description: Wildly talented high school girls’ soccer players descend into savage clans after their plane crashes in the remote northern wilderness. Twenty-five years later, they discover that what began in the wild is far from over.
Psych 3: This is Gus – Thursday, November 18

The boys are back! Gus is getting married before the birth of his baby but not before he and Shawn team up to find Selene’s estranged husband. Timothy Omundson’s Lassiter is also coming to grips with his future as a detective. Psych 3: This is Gus premieres Thursday, November 18 on Peacock.
Movie Description: In preparation for a shotgun wedding before the birth of Baby Guster, Shawn (James Roday Rodriguez) and Groomzilla Gus (Dulé Hill) go rogue in an attempt to track down Selene’s (Jazmyn Simon) estranged husband, as Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) grapples with the future of his career.
The Sex Lives of College Girls – Thursday, November 18

From the mind of Mindy Kaling comes a new comedy that follows four roommates as they live the college life and that it entails at a prestigious New England college. The Sex Lives of College Girls premieres Thursday, November 18 on HBO Max.
Series Description: The Sex Lives of College Girls follows four college roommates as they arrive at New England’s prestigious Essex College. A bundle of contradictions and hormones, these girls are equal parts lovable and infuriating as they live out their new, free lives on campus.
Cowboy Bebop – Friday, November 19

The live-action adaptation of the popular anime is coming and ready to introduce us to Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine, and their corgi as they travel through space, collecting on the bounties they hunt down. Cowboy Bebop debuts Friday, November 19 on Netflix.
Series Description: Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. The Great – Friday, November 19

Hulu’s tale of Russian monarchs and their quest to snuff each other out continues with recurring guests including Gillian Anderson as Catherine continues her quest to destroy Peter and rule over the country. The Great returns Friday, November 19 on Hulu.
Episode Description: Four months after launching a coup against her husband, a pregnant Catherine gains the upper hand in her war against Peter. Being deeply in love with Catherine and their unborn child does little to dissuade her from taking his throne.
Tick, tick…BOOM! – Friday, November 19

Jonathan Larson’s lauded musical following a young composer as he begins to feel the pressure from all around him as he’s just on the cusp of potentially launching his career with what he believes is the next great American musical. Tick, Tick…Boom! Streams Friday, November 19 on Netflix.
Movie Description: An adaptation of the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, who revolutionized theater as the creator of Rent. The film follows Jon (Academy Award nominee and Tony Award winner Andrew Garfield), a young theater composer who’s waiting tables at a New York City diner in 1990 while writing what he hopes will be the next great American musical. The Wheel of Time – Friday, November 19

Robert Jordan’s series is coming to life with an impressive cast to tell the tale of the search for the reincarnated spirit of a mythical creature thought to be long gone. The Wheel of Time debuts Friday, November 19 on Amazon Prime Video.
Series Description: Moiraine, a member of a magical organization, takes five young people on a journey, believing that one of them might be the reincarnation of the Dragon, a powerful individual prophesied to save the world or destroy it.
Pau Gasol: It’s About the Journey – Now Streaming

Get a glimpse at basketball player, Pau Gasol’s, life in the aftermath of his last NBA game. From re-signing with FC Barcelona to the Tokyo Olympic Games to play one last time with his home country’s team, and so much more, viewers will get a closer look at what loss, sacrifices, and hard-earned wins look like for Gasol. Pau Gasol: It’s About the Journey is out now on Prime Video.
Documentary Description: Gasol’s last NBA game took place in March 2019. In May of that year, he underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left foot and has been working to return to the court ever since. Last March, Gasol re-signed with FC Barcelona, where he began his professional career more than 20 years ago, and this summer at the Tokyo Olympic Games, he played one last time with the Spanish national basketball team. The series will portray how an elite athlete says goodbye to the game he knows and loves, struggling with physical scars and emotional challenges, while he builds his personal legacy and manages new family commitments and more personal projects.
