Wentworth Miller Returns to ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ for Episode 100
  • The Waverider crew is headed for a milestone in Legends of Tomorrow Season 7, as the series celebrates its 100th episode. TVLine reports, original cast member Wentworth Miller will guest star in the special outing.
  • Miller played Leonard Snart/Captain Cold on The Flash, before moving to Legends of Tomorrow. He appeared on Season 1, where he sacrificed himself to save the others in the finale.
  • Miller rejoined the franchise in the Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Earth-X” as Leo-X/Citizen Cold, and popped up as the voice of a parallel Earth Waverider in “Crisis on Infinite Earths.”
  • “The whole episode really is predicated on memory and Gideon’s memory,” executive producer Phil Klemmer told TVLine. “It occurred to us, in being forced to do a retrospective of 100 episodes, that Gideon, really, is the only person who saw everything. Obviously, Sara Lance has been there from the very beginning, but she’s just a person. There were things that she missed. And so, we were really excited about going back through the seasons and sort of tracking the evolution of the show and doing that through Gideon’s eyes.”
  • Directed by star Caity Lotz, the special episode features Gideon, played in real life and not just voiceover by Amy Louise Pemberton, reliving previous moments. It airs Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 8/7c on The CW.
  • “We also wanted to give a chance for the newest generation of Legends, the Astras and Spooners of the team, to meet up with some of the original gang,” Klemmer continued.
  • Legends of Tomorrow Season 7 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 8/7c on The CW.
