Preview — New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 5: This Be the Verse

Max continues to fight Dr. Fuentes for his legacy, while Floyd’s unconventional relationship finally impacts his personal life on New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 5, “This Be the Verse.”

No matter what rules the married couple lives by, we’ve known since day one that Floyd’s romantic relationship with Lyn would absolutely effect his working relationship with Dr. Baptiste. Now it appears those complicated chickens are coming home to roost.

How does someone as meticulous and thoughtful as Floyd not realize sleeping with the head of surgery’s wife would end badly!?

Meanwhile, Max is stuck with the realization that once he’s gone, Dr. Fuentes can simply undo everything he’s accomplished. We can already see him rethinking his decision to leave. The only question is whether Helen’s difficulty in oncology will force her to reevaluate her priorities as well.

No matter what the couple decides, they need to move out of Max’s place and into Helen’s stat.
