‘Peacemaker’ Premiere Date, ‘Doom Patrol’ Renewed, ‘Pennyworth’ Moving | DC FanDome
DC Comics once again celebrated all its heroes and villains with its DC FanDome event. In addition to teasers for upcoming films like The Flash, The Batman, and Black Adam. the virtual livestream included new footage and updates on all its TV series.
HBO Max Renews ‘Doom Patrol’ for Season 4
- Television’s most unique comic book show is returning, as it was announced that Doom Patrol has been renewed for Season 4.
- Doom Patrol Season 3 has seen the team dealing with Michelle Gomez as time travelling Madame Rouge, as well as the Sisterhood of the Dada.
- It stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, Timothy Dalton, Skye Roberts, and Gomez.
- Doom Patrol is available on HBO Max, with new episodes every Thursday.

‘Peacemaker’ Releases Trailer, Announces January Premiere
- John Cena is ready to return as his standout The Suicide Squad character Peacemaker in his own HBO Max series.
- Peacemaker will debut on HBO Max Thursday, Jan. 13. “It depicts a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.”
- The eight-episode show is written and directed by James Gunn and features Jennifer Holland and Steve Agee reprising the characters of Harcourt and Economos from the film. They are joined by Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn, and Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith.
- Peacemaker will premiere Thursday, Jan. 13 on HBO Max.
‘Pennyworth’ Season 3 Moving to HBO Max
- HBO Max is adding another series to its Bat mythology lineup. Pennyworth Season 3 will find the show moving from Epix to HBO Max.
- Pennyworth follows Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth as he works for Thomas Wayne in the ’60s.
- In addition to Season 3, the first two seasons of Pennyworth will also be available on the streamer. Deadline reports, Epix will have a second window to air the show.
- Pennyworth Season 3 features a five-year time jump, “the civil war is over, and a cultural revolution has changed the world for better or worse – ushering in a new age of superheroes and supervillains.”

First Footage of ‘Naomi’ Revealed
- Viewers received a first look at The CW’s newest hero, with footage from Naomi.
- Starring Kaci Walfall as Naomi, the series follows “a teen girl’s journey from her small northwestern town to the heights of the multiverse. When a supernatural event shakes her hometown to the core, Naomi sets out to uncover its origins, and what she discovers will challenge everything we believe about our heroes.”
- The clip features Naomi suddenly leaving class to check out a mysterious stunt that involves Superman. Once she’s there, she falls unconscious, glimpsing a blue blur before she passes out.
- Written and executive produced by Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship, Naomi is set for to debut midseason on The CW.
‘Titans’ Renewed for Season 4
- After returning to Gotham City for Season 3, Titans will be back for Season 4 at HBO Max.
- Titans Season 3 features the team battling the Red Hood and Scarecrow, as they bring chaos to Gotham. Familiar characters Barbara Gordon and Tim Drake have also joined the series.
- Brenton Thwaites stars as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, along with Anna Diop as Koriand’r/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth, Ryan Potter as Gar Logan/Beast Boy, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy, Damaris Lewis as Komand’r/Blackfire, Curran Walters as Jason Todd/Red Hood, and Joshua Orpin as Connor/Superboy.
- Titans is streaming on HBO Max, with the Season 3 finale airing Thursday, Oct. 21.
