Succession Season 3 Premiere Date (Finally!) Announced
It’s been two years since Succession Season 2 ended with its shocking finale, so to say the Season 3 premiere date is much anticipated is an understatement.
The HBO award-winning drama is set to premiere the 9-episode Season 3 on Sunday, October 17th at 9/8c. That’s down one episode from the previous two seasons.
The cliffhanger ending had Kendall Roy publicly turning on his father, and now the battle lines are drawn. Season 3 will cover that battle with members of the Roy family having to choose sides and form alliances. Loyalties will be tested and family bonds either broken or strengthened.
HBO has released Season 3 art with the key characters side-eyeing each other separated by a line on the ground. Reading this for clues might prove to be difficult as three posters (so far) have been shared with the placement of everyone, save for Ken and Logan, shuffled around. Succession is already teasing us which suggests an intense and drama-packed Season 3.
The cast of the Roy family will be returning for Season 3 with Brian Cox as Logan Roy, Jeremy Strong as Kendall, Sarah Snook as Shiv, Kieran Culkin as Roman, Matthew Macfadyen as Tom Wambsgans, and Nicholas Braun as Cousin Greg.
New faces will be on hand for Season 3 as well, including Alexander Skarsgård as a tech CEO, Adrien Brody as a billionaire activist, Sanaa Lathan as a NY lawyer, and Hope Davis as the daughter of one of Logan’s nemeses.
“Make Your Move” is the tagline and there are sure to be many moves, double-dealings, and backstabbing happening in Season 3—the stakes are higher than they’ve ever been. Check out the official HBO teaser below for more!
