Preview — Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 Episode 15: The Fungus Amongus
It’s the Season 6 finale on Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 Episode 15, “The Fungus Amongus.”
Picking up after the unexpectedly dark cliffhangers on Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 Episode 14, “There Will Be Brood,” that saw Mick, Constantine, and possibly Spooner die, the Legends are scrambling to save the world from an alien invasion without three of their teammates. At least at first.
The finale promo clearly shows both Mick and Spooner alive and kicking for the big showdown. Spooner may not have actually died at the end of “There Will Be Brood,” but Mick almost certainly did. If Mick is back, it’s because of a time-traveling or magic intervention on the part of the Legends.
Maybe those rules that Ava convinces Sara to break are the intervention that brings Mick back. It’s certainly not the first time the Legends have brought someone back from the dead or even the first time they’ve broken the rules to do it.
What’s interesting is that it’s Ava who wants to break the rules. She’s come so far since her days as a by-the-book Time Bureau agent.
The preview material doesn’t give any clues to Constantine’s fate.
Even though it’s already been announced that Matt Ryan will be returning next season as a new character, it’s a safe bet that we haven’t seen the last of Constantine just yet — at least not before a proper goodbye to Zari.
Still, given that the character won’t be returning to the Waverider for Season 7, how he makes his season finale appearance and what his send-off will be, is one of the biggest questions going into the last episode.
And, of course, for all those Avalance shippers out there we will finally see Sara and Ava’s wedding, but will they be interrupted by a certain smug alien clone before they get to “I do?”
