Emmys 2021: Winners Include ‘Ted Lasso,’ ‘The Crown,’ and ‘The Queen’s Gambit’

There was a whole lot of joy at the 73rd Emmy® Awards.

While the awards show celebrating the best of television was still affected by the current health crisis, it felt a whole lot more normal than it did last year. And the general attitude was joyous and grateful.

Hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, this year’s Emmy Awards, which aired on CBS, wasn’t necessarily surprising in terms of winners. The Crown swept the drama categories this year, including winning the award for Outstanding Drama Series.

Ted Lasso won big with four awards, including the award for Outstanding Comedy Series.

The Governors Award was awarded to the legendary Debbie Allen, who gave one of the most inspiring speeches of the evening.

See the list of winners below, as well a few photos from the event. And be sure to let us know what you thought of this year’s awards in the comments.
