Preview — Ted Lasso Season 2 Episode 5: Rainbow

Previews, Ted Lasso

Now that the holiday season has passed, Richmond gets back down to business on winning some games. With Ted Lasso Season 2 Episode 5, “Rainbow,” the team takes their newfound unity to new heights.

They still aren’t exactly where they need to be as a team, but with Jamie willing to work through his kinks they are well on their way. The only real issues that stand in their way come in the form of Nate and Ted himself.

While Nate’s problem is his assertiveness going to extremes — read, asshole behavior. Never fear, the queens of mean and nice — Rebecca and Keeley respectively — are on the case. They are determined to ensure the team gets constructive behavior from Nate, instead of destructive.

Meanwhile, Ted is still very unsure of the therapist’s role with the team and is not as willing to really bite the bullet and admit the team needs more than just draws on their record. Hopefully, a conversation with Roy will help him get on the right path and the team off toward winning again.
