Sarah and her friends work to bring democracy to Greylock on The Republic of SarahSeason 1 Episode 6, “A Show of Hands.” This idea of a more representative form of government appears to come in retaliation to a damaging magazine article written about Sarah.
Democracy is better for this new country no matter how it happens. Though, it doesn’t bode well that it only crosses Sarah’s mind after someone attacks her character. Ideally, a fair and equal election will take some of the weight off of Sarah’s shoulders.
It may be too easy for all of this to go as planned, but it would be beneficial for the people of Greylock to have a say in what happens in their country. The problem with this fair and equal election is that anyone can run, including Danny.
With only four available seats, one would assume there’s enough room for Danny, Maya, AJ, and Corinne to win. If life has taught us anything, we should never make assumptions about anything, especially elections. There is surely a curveball coming straight for Sarah and Greylock.
