Dynasty Review: A Little Father-Daughter Chat (Season 4 Episode 6)
Fallon soon finds out that hiring her father may not have been the best idea, and Culhane tries to get comfortable with his newfound millionaire status on Dynasty Season 4 Episode 6, “A Little Father-Daughter Chat.”
Fallon giving her father another chance to make things right fits in line with her soft spot for family, but at some point, she’ll have to venture off on her own. Instead of seeing this opportunity as a chance to get closer with his daughter, he took it as him being treated with neglect.
It’s only in Blake’s nature to look out for himself, which is why when he doesn’t get what he wants, he resorts to petty measures such as firing Fallon’s entire staff. By the end of the episode, he seems to have some revelation, but it’s not in Blake’s DNA to change overnight. He can’t be trusted just because he says that he’s going to change his actions.

Blake’s storyline doesn’t have much of a backbone other than him consistently ruining the relationships around him. He’s in a constant cycle of doing what he wants, hurting others and having them leave, him apologizing and stating he’ll change, and then resorting back to whatever he wants.
Cristal hasn’t come out and made it known, but there’s no way that she’s not pregnant with the priest’s child after her fainting spell and admitting to being sick for the past few days. I would like to see a happy pregnant Cristal, but not one that has to be subjected to Blake Carrington. Once he finds out the truth, there’s no telling what will happen.
Culhane’s glow-up from the Carrington employee treated like dirt to Atlanta’s newest multimillionaire is one that I live for. He’s had to overcome his handful of struggles to get where he is, but it’s such a rewarding thing to see him living life happily.

Culhane has never been a petty, dramatic person that constantly thrives on staying in that environment and doesn’t have the rich guy mentality on life just yet. There’s no doubt that his first good deed by giving Ryan a loan to go to law school will most certainly not be his last, and that excites me.
Dynasty hasn’t had a character that has had the means to do good and done so just for the sake of being a good person, so I hope that Culhane can be that first character to do so. That’s a character that I would be able to semi-relate to more personally, and I think other viewers could as well.
Ryan and Sam’s relationship was a bit fishy in the beginning because of how they met, but I must say I’m excited to see Ryan move to Atlanta. His character wasn’t very trustworthy initially, but he’s made it very clear that he doesn’t care for Sam’s money, and there’s a genuine connection between the two.

Sam, unfortunately, has been the one exhibiting toxic behavior in the relationship because he can’t follow Ryan’s wishes to stop showering him in gifts. His character, like he says in the episode, does come from a poor upbringing, but it’s clear he doesn’t have the same thought process about money.
Now that Sam is rich, he expects every dollar to fix whatever issue he may be going through, without realizing that it could be one of his biggest problems. With Ryan moving to Atlanta to attend law school, he’ll have to watch his actions to avoid scaring Ryan away.
Ryan’s view on not wanting to be financially independent on someone else and not allowing anyone to change that is one I respect. He knows what he wants in life and has enough respect for himself to not let love make him do things he knows he shouldn’t do.
Understandably,Dynasty is trying to bring total redemption to Adam’s character, but I don’t care for it. It’s going to annoy me all season to see Kirby so in love with the psycho, but alas, I’ll have to just put up with it.
