Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of May 2nd! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to while stuck inside.
This week’s picks include a big Grey’s Anatomy, the return of Legends of Tomorrow, the beginning of Pose‘s final season, and more!

DC’S Legends of Tomorrow – Sunday, May 2

The Arrowverse’s lovable misfits are back and are hellbent on finding their captain after losing Sara to alien kidnappers. Will they be able to figure out who took her and rescue her? Legends of Tomorrow returns Sunday, May 2 at 8/7c on The CW.
Episode Description: After a night of celebrating their beating the Fates, the Legends quickly discover that Sara (Caity Lotz) is missing. Trying to keep it together, the Legends are shocked to discover that she was taken by Aliens. Ava (Jes Macallan) sends Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) to follow a lead on who can possibly help them find Sara, while Constantine (Matt Ryan) tries to work his magic. Meanwhile, Sara does all she can to try to escape, which includes releasing Aliens into the timeline, but is shocked to learn who one of her kidnappers turns out to be.
Pose – Sunday, May 2

It’s the beginning of the end for Blanca and the House of Evangelista. As the final season bows, ready to tell the stories of this found family as some go in search of purpose in their work. Pose returns Sunday, May 2 at 10/9c on FX.
Episode Description: With the AIDS epidemic reaching fever pitch, Blanca finds purpose working as a nurse’s aide, but Blanca’s history with a new patient leads to a challenging ordeal; Lemar shakes up the community when he becomes father to the unruly House of Khan.
United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell – Sunday, May 2
Kamau Bell is back with a new batch of episodes that shine a light on different groups, organizations, and ideologies that exist throughout the country. Bell takes on the state of policing in America. United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell returns Sunday, May 2 at 10/9c on CNN.
Episode Description: Kamau examines the history and current state of policing in America through the eyes of activists, organizers, politicians, victims and police themselves in his hometown of Oakland, California and the Bay Area.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Tuesday, May 4

When things are said and done in the aftermath of the Clone Wars, members of the Bad Batch are forced to deal with the shifting realities and find themselves working to adapt or face elimination. Star Wars: The Bad Batch debuts Tuesday, May 4 on Disney+.

Girls5eva – Thursday, May 6

Renee Elise Goldsberry, Busy Phillipps, Paula Pell, and Sara Bareilles play 4 women who were members of a girl pop group long ago. Now facing a potential opportunity for a comeback, the ladies reunite and work towards another chance at success. Girls5Eva debuts Thursday, May 6 on Peacock.
Series Description: When a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 1990s gets sampled by a young rapper, its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot — this time while balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain.
Grey’s Anatomy – Thursday, May 6

For Japril fans, it’s the episode you’ve been hoping for all season in a season of surprise guest stars and returns as Jackson ends up on April’s doorstep. Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursday, May 6 at 9/8c on ABC.
Episode Description: Jackson pays a visit to his father, who helps set him on the right path.
Jupiter’s Legacy – Friday, May 7

From Mark Millar comes a new superhero-centered series that follows the world’s first generation of superheroes looking to the next generation for hopes of continuing their legacy and the pressures that come with it. Jupiter’s Legacy debuts Friday, May 7 on Netflix.

Shrill – Friday, May 7

The final season of the Hulu series is upon us, and it finds Annie ready to take on the world in the face of changes she’s made. But even with the forward movement, does she know what she wants out of it all? Shrill returns Friday, May 7 on Hulu.
