NBC Announces 2021-2022 Fall Schedule
NBC has officially announced its 2021-2022 fall TV schedule and there are some big changes on the horizon, per TVLine.
The most notable absence is Thursday night comedies. The network is going all-in with a full night of Law & Order. The new series Law & Order: For the Defense will lead the lineup, followed by SVU, and then Organized Crime.

The postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics and the arrival of the 2022 Winter Olympics in February have mixed up the schedule. Now, NBC has to adjust to two schedule interruptions.
The final 10-episode season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is set to debut after the Summer Olympics. The Voice is only running one cycle in the fall, we have to assume because of the Winter Olympics.
The network will hold This is Us‘ final season until spring, which means it will air without interruptions.
Debris, Manifest, Good Girls, and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist are all missing from the schedule. However, none have been officially canceled, so there’s still hope.

Ordinary Joe stars James Wolk, Natalie Martinez, Charlie Barnett, and Elizabeth Lail. The drama “explores the three parallel lives of the show’s main character after he makes a pivotal choice at a crossroads in his life. The series asks the question of how different life might look if you made your decision based on love, loyalty or passion.”
La Brea stars Natalie Zea, Eoin Macken, Jon Seda, and Nicholas Gonzalez. “When a massive sinkhole mysteriously opens in Los Angeles, it tears a family in half, separating mother and son from father and daughter. When half of the family find themselves in an unexplainable primeval world alongside a disparate group of strangers, they must work to survive and uncover the mystery of where they are — and if there is a way back home.”
Law & Order: For the Defense “looks inside a criminal defense firm, putting the lawyers under a microscope, along with the criminal justice system.”

Here is NBC’s fall schedule. (New shows are in upper case; all times in ET.)
