Dynasty Review: Vows Are Still Sacred (Season 4 Episode 2)
Things take a turn for the worse on Liam and Fallon’s special day on Dynasty Season 4 Episode 2, “Vows Are Still Sacred,” as her ex-fling shows up in a jealous rage. Evan means business and nothing is off the table, not even murder.
Before I talk about anything, I have to talk about how Elizabeth Gillies woke up on the morning of filming “Vows Are Still Sacred” and knew she was coming for us. She put her foot on our necks and didn’t let up!
The fact that Gillies has not given fans a proper album from her should be a crime because her voice sounds like angels themselves carved it. I never fail to yell out in amazement when re-watching the scene again and again.

I need the Dynasty writers to pitch a storyline where Fallon has to sing the entire time for the length of two episodes because, after this week’s episode, I will forever have Gillies’ performance on repeat and burned in my mind.
I like the consistency that nothing will ever change for Fallon Carrington, she could be having the best day in the world or the worst day anyone has ever seen, and it’s guaranteed, no matter what, that something dramatic is going to happen to make it worse. It’s a pipedream at this point to think she can have a normal day.
The wedding disaster chaos is tragic for Fallon and ruins her day, for the most part. But it’s secretly a blessing in disguise because, in the end, she gets to marry the man of her dreams in an intimate setting without everyone else around.
Granted, she does get attacked afterward, but hey, it’s no biggie because they threw Evan off the stage pretty fast. While she and her father may not be speaking at the moment, at least he pulled through and saved her from the psycho holding her at knife point.
Overall, without the psycho stabbing and attempted kidnapping, the wedding ceremony is a lovely moment because Fallon and Liam are getting to celebrate by themselves and not have to deal with anybody else’s drama.
I love how Liam is ready to jump at a moment’s notice when Fallon mentions leaving their wedding. He truly only cares for her. They’re made for one another and I can’t wait to watch them conquer the season together.

Liam and Fallon have been through a tremendous amount of drama/dangerous situations together, so to see them finally married as a happy couple brings a smile to my face.
Evan’s plan doesn’t successfully follow through, but it might just be the next turning point in Anders’ case against Adam seeing as how Anders finds him hovering over Kirby’s blood-soaked body. Obviously, Anders is never going to believe what Adam has to say, so there’s going to be a confrontation between the two, but it’s on another level this time as Anders pulls a gun on Adam.
I love Anders for pulling the gun out so quickly because I would be doing the same thing in that situation, but I’m worried that it will cause an issue with his investigation into Adam. If Adam can prove that he didn’t stab Kirby, then he has an opportunity to paint Anders in a bad light, possibly securing a good alibi against any dirt Anders might bring up against him.

Nurse Shelley has already been an accomplice and could become collateral in the fight against Adam, but I hope she doesn’t run from the fight. I hope that Anders can help her stay safe long enough for her to testify against Adam so he can spend the rest of his life in the place he deserves to be; jail.
I can see the charm and appeal of Ryan, but I think Sam might be going a little too far with the wooing of someone who made up a fake life and traveled across the country like a stalker to connect with him. Sam is too rich and handsome to be risking everything for some man who admits that he was barely drunk when he willingly married Sam while blackout drunk.
On the next episode, I hope we get to see Sam running a background check on “Ryan,” but I won’t get my hopes up.
The season is starting strong, and by the looks of it, I don’t anticipate the momentum going down.
