Preview — Superman & Lois Season 1 Episode 4: Haywire
On Superman & Lois Season 1 Episode 4, “Haywire,” Clark is pulled in multiple directions as he tries to help Lois uncover the truth about Morgan Edge and save the world as Superman.
Edge is trying to get the people of Smallville on his side. How better to do that than to have Mayor Dean and Kyle Kushing in his corner? They’re influential people in the town, but so is the press like the Smallville Gazette.
The strain of Clark’s double life is felt when it appears that Jordan accidentally injures someone with his powers, according to the promo video. This requires the Clark to take a step back and reexamine their priorities, but General Lane isn’t pleased with that development.
Luckily, Lois is more than apt to stand up against her father in defense of her family and Clark’s role in it.

Episode description: While sitting in the stands at the high school football game, Lois and Chrissy spot fish out of water Morgan Edge conversing with Mayor Dean and Kyle Kushing, and the two see right through this insincere move to try to win over the town.
Meanwhile, Clark agrees to help Lois out at a town hall meeting, but things get tense when he finds himself pulled in two different directions. Lastly, Jonathan is having mixed emotions about Jordan’s newfound status.
Emmanuelle Chriqui, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks and Dylan Walsh also star. The episode was written by Michael Narducci and directed by James Bamford.
