Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of March 14th We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to while stuck inside.

This week’s picks include The Falcon and The Winter Soldier join the Marvel TV universe, Sky Rojo’s debut, Mayans MC returns, and more.

Bloodlands – Monday, March 15

A car that washes up ashore propels the latest thriller following detective Tom Brannick’s search to uncover the truth. In the process, he uncovers a sinister trail of murders, including one that is very close to him. Bloodlands debuts Monday, March 15 on Acorn TV.

Series Description: In the gripping thriller Bloodlands from Jed Mercurio (Line of Duty, Bodyguard), veteran detective Tom Brannick (James Nesbitt) connects a criminal’s car pulled from the sea to a notorious series of disappearances-including his own wife’s 20 years earlier. Brannick begins an obsessive campaign to unmask a possible assassin, code-named Goliath, in a case that evokes Northern Ireland’s dark past.

The Mayans are back and left to deal with a new obstacle in their dealing and people’s vision of the future for the club. Mayans MC returns Tuesday, March 16 at 10/9c on FX.

Episode Description: A border shutdown squeezes the Mayan’s heroin trade setting off an internal clash over the future of the club; EZ and Angel deal with the fallout of family secrets; The Galindos grow apart as Miguel loses himself in his grief and search for answers.

Staged Season 2 – Tuesday, March 16

David Tenant, Michael Sheen and company are back with a new season of the delightful Zoom-based comedy following the pair’s attempts at putting together a production meant for the West End. Staged: Season 2 drops Tuesday, March 16 on Hulu.

New Amsterdam – Tuesday, March 16

Max has to make a decision about which path to go down when he’s asked to vouch for the hospital’s safety, while others start to question the latest diagnostic methodologies. New Amsterdam airs Tuesday, March 16 at 10/9c on NBC.

Episode Description: Max resists an idea that could bring New Amsterdam more revenue; Iggy pushes back on the new telemedicine system; Sharpe uncovers a startling trend while treating a beloved former patient.

The Pole & The Summoner – Wednesday, March 17

Syfy’s adult animation block adds 2 more to its roster. The first is set in the North Pole following the lives of St. Nick and company in the aftermath of a scandal, and the other follows a twentysomething whose roommate is an alien summoner. Naturally, hijinks ensue. The Pole and The Summoner debuts Wednesday, March 17 at 11:15/10:15c on Syfy.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – Friday, March 19

Three women find themselves on the run in the aftermath of a heinous assault and murder. Together they race towards a new life, away from their pimp and henchmen. Will they make it? Sky Rojo debuts Friday, March 19 on Netflix.

Series Description: From the creators of Money Heist comes this new action-packed series complete with dark humor and adrenaline-filled moments. Coral, Wendy and Gina go on the run in search of freedom while being chased by Moisés and Christian, henchmen of Romeo, pimp and owner of Club Las Novias. Together, the women embark on a frenetic race during which they will have to face many dangers. Their only plan: to stay alive for five more minutes.
