Series Nominees For the 26th Annual Critics Choice Awards: ‘Ozark,’ ‘The Crown,’ ‘Schitt’s Creek,’ and More

The television series nominees were announced today for the 26th Annual Critics Choice Awards, with Ozark and The Crown each leading with six nominations each. 

Other shows with several nominations this year include Lovecraft Country, Schitt’s Creek, What We Do in the Shadows, Better Call Saul, and Ted Lasso. 

This year’s winners will be revealed Sunday, March 7th at 7/6c, live on The CW. Taye Diggs will return to host the even for his third consecutive time. 

Film nominees will be revealed on February 8th, and the format of this year’s event will be announced at a later date, as health and safety guidelines are taken into consideration.

“We are so thrilled to be celebrating the incredible work that was released during this extended season,” said Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin. “In a year when the need for entertainment was undeniable, the industry rallied to deliver beautiful series that delighted us, educated us, challenged us, and most importantly, brought us all together.”

Critics Choice Awards are bestowed annually to honor the finest in cinematic and television achievement. Historically, they are the most accurate predictor of Academy Award nominations.
