Preview — The Resident Season 4 Episode 3: The Accidental Patient
One of Chastain Memorial’s doctors is in an accident that puts his life and career on the line on The Resident Season 4 Episode 3, “The Accidental Patient.” But this isn’t exactly a typical case of colleagues banning together to save a friend.
The victim is Dr. Cain, so while his colleagues will undoubtedly uphold the oaths they made upon enterting their profession, there are definitely going to be trust issues along the way.
Plus, Dr. Bell has an unconventional idea to try and save Chastain Memorial from the fate that Red Rock executives have in mind for it. But Mina is suspicious of his plan.
Mina tells Nic a secret, and Nic and Conrad treat a patient with a secret of her own that may turn out to be life-threatening.

Episode description: When Cain tries to be a hero at a crash scene, he is struck by a car, causing Chastain’s doctors to put aside their personal issues to try and save his life. Conrad and Nic team up to help one of the crash victims, whose secretive past makes it difficult to identify a diagnosis. Meanwhile, Bell brings his TV crew to the hospital in hopes of garnering positive attention for Chastain, and Mina opens up to Nic, only to find out that Nic is holding on to a secret of her own.
