When Does ‘This Is Us’ Return from Hiatus?
When does This is Us return from hiatus?
This is Us Season 5 aired its first four episodes this Fall, and it returns Tuesday, January 5th at 9/8c with Season 5 Episode 5, “A Long Road Home.” Go ahead and start stocking up on the tissues now.
So far, this season of the NBC series has tackled the current health crisis in a poignant way while continuing the stories of the Pearson family, including Rebecca’s declining health, Kate and Toby’s adoption, and Kevin and Madison’s baby.

The series is also addressing Black Lives Matter and has Randall looking inward and focusing on his own identity.
The first episodes of the season also revealed a surprising detail about Kate’s past, and it looks like we’ll be finding more about that as well. We’ve also learned more about Randall’s mother, and a new mystery is unfolding.

It’s really no surprise that This is Us has continued its powerful storytelling this season, all while bringing a little extra comfort to its viewers.
It certainly seems there is plenty more for viewers to look forward to this season, and that wait is almost over. Here’s a look at the promo video for This is Us Season 5 Episode 5.
