Things are heating up on Star Trek: Discovery as the series heads into its penultimate episode. The clock is ticking down, even if Adira may have bought the away team some time, but the radiation is deadly, as the promotional images confirm a Michael Burnham clearly physically affected by the radiation.

With Osyraa in command on the U.S.S. Discovery, will Michael and the others return to the nebula in time to save their loved ones? 

Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 12, “There is a Tide…,” amps up the pacing and throws our protagonists into this emotional conflict as each of them reel over the newly discovered information and their new situation that places them as hostages, especially Tilly who already was uneasy with her new role as first officer.

But after seeing what Osyraa did to her own family, what lies ahead, and who will live to see The Federation prevail once more after the dark century ushered in by Su’Kal’s Burn?
