Supernatural Will Return to The CW in October for its Final Goodbye
The CW will keep a promise to Supernatural fans when the series returns to the network for the final 7 episodes of Season 15 beginning on Thursday, October 8 at 8/7c, TV Line reported. Supernatural Season 15 Episode 13, “Destiny’s Child,” was the final episode to air before the hiatus began.
Back in March after production was shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, Supernatural executive producer Andrew Dabb made a statement on Twitter regarding the remaining episodes of the series’ final season.
“We, the CW, and Warner Bros fully intend to return and finish the series. It’s not a matter of ‘if’, it’s a matter of ‘when,'” Dabb said.

Dabb clarified that the show had filmed through Supernatural Season 15 Episode 18 before the shutdown, but the final 7 episodes couldn’t be finished in post-production because the visual effects and sound departments had closed down too.
The series finale is currently scheduled to air on Thursday, November 19 at 9/8c following a special retrospective episode, “Supernatural: The Long Road Home,” at 8/7c.
Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki already have their next projects lined up.

The CW announced in January 2020 that they had given a series order to the Walker, Texas Ranger reboot starring Padalecki in the title role.
Ackles is joining Season 3 of the hit Amazon Prime series The Boys. He’ll play Soldier Boy, the original superhero in the show’s universe who fought in World War II and became the first-ever “super celebrity.”
