Preview — 9-1-1 Season 3 Episode 17: Powerless

Season 3 is coming to an exciting end with the first part of a two-part finale, 9-1-1 Season 3 Episode 17, “Powerless.” 

As a continuation from 9-1-1 Season 3 Episode 16, “The One That Got Away,” Athena will pursue her serial rape suspect. Unfortunately, that pursuit takes a drastic turn and puts her life in danger.

As promised this season, Connie Britton makes a triumphant return as Abby in the two-part finale as part of one of the cases the 118 takes on. Fans will remember that we haven’t seen Abby since she left Buck during the finale of Season 1.

After so much time has passed how will Buck react to her return? Will the couple get back together or close that chapter of their lives once and for all?

Episode description: The 118 races to rescue a little girl in a runaway hot air balloon and help with a city power outage caused by a hijacked tree-trimmer truck; Athena’s investigation into a serial rapist case puts her life in jeopardy.
