Preview — Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 Episode 1: Nothing Left to Cling To

Last season, Grey’s Anatomy left us with some major cliffhangers, including the firing of three surgeons, Meredith turning herself in to the police, Jackson’s disappearance, and Jo seeking the help she’s been needing.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 Episode 1, “Nothing Left to Cling To,” will reveal what happens next, finally answering the questions we’ve been asking all summer. Meredith, Richard, and Alex deal with their consequences and we find out happened to Jackson in the fog.

Meredith’s consequences, in the very least, include some court-mandated community service, as far as we can tell.  

Meanwhile, Tom is also getting new responsibilities, and from the looks of things, we’ll get the chance to see Owen and Teddy with their new baby. (You can read what Kim Raver had to say this summer about Teddy’s relationship with Owen here.)

Episode description: Meredith, Richard and Alex must deal with the consequences after Bailey fires them from Grey Sloan for insurance fraud. After disappearing in the fog, Jackson helps a man in a dangerous situation, as his relationship with Maggie comes to a new crossroad. Meanwhile, Tom gets new responsibilities at the hospital that throw the doctors for a loop.
