Arrowverse: Erica Durance, Smallville’s Lois Lane, Joins Tom Welling for ‘Crisis of Infinite Earths’
Smallville‘s Lois Lane and Clark Kent are reuniting in the five-part Arrowverse crossover event “Crisis of Infinite Earths” beginning this December.
Erica Durance will recur as Lois Lane on multiple parts of the crossover event according to TV Line. On Thursday, it was announced that Tom Welling, who played Clark Kent on Smallville will be reprising his role as well.

The reprisal will follow the characters almost ten years after the end of Smallville.
This will be the first time Welling and Durance have reunited since the Smallville series finale, but it isn’t Durance’s first appearance in the Arrowverse. Durance previous appeared on Supergirl, as Kara’s mother Alura Zor-El. Proceeded appearances have included Saving Hope, where she also served as producer.

“Crisis of Infinite Earths” kicks off on Sunday December 8th with Supergirl. The action continues into Monday night’s episode Batwoman and then Tuesday night’s The Flash.
A month-long holiday break continues the saga on January 14th with Arrow and a special installment of Legends of Tomorrow.

Previous casting announcements have included Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as Supergirl‘s own Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane. Brandon Routh will also appear as the Kingdom Come version of Superman in Legends of Tomorrow.
“Crisis of Infinite Earths” begins on December 8th with an episode of Supergirl.
