The trailer for Supergirl Season 5 was released at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, and it looks intense.  It reveals that technology is going to be featured heavily in Season 5, and not in a good way.

Another big moment in the trailer is that we get a good look at Kara’s new suit, and it looks a lot cooler than the old one (pants!). Do you agree? I hope it has pockets.

Lena learns the truth about Supergirl at the end of Supergirl Season 4 Episode 22, “The Quest for Peace,” and unfortunately the Season 5 trailer reveals that Lena is not taking the news well.

Lena: I don’t want to kill Supergirl. I just want her to experience the same hurt she inflicted on me, and soon enough, she will.

Lying is apparently one thing that Lena really does not tolerate, especially among friends. The trailer shows Lena punching Kara in the face upon confronting her. Hopefully, Lena and Kara will reconcile before Season 5 ends because their friendship is one of the highlights of the series.

The other big news items relating to Season 5 is that this will be the final season for Mehcad Brooks, and Jeremy Jordan will reprise his role as Winn for a handful of episodes.
