The Handmaid’s Tale Renewed for Season 4
It looks like June’s journey in Gilead isn’t over just yet. The Handmaid’s Tale will return for a fourth season.
TV Line reports, that Hulu announced the renewal of The Handmaid’s Tale at the Television Critic’s Association summer press tour.

Currently airing the final leg of its third season, The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 picked up with Elisabeth Moss’s June deciding not to join Alexis Bledel’s Emily on a truck out of Gilead.
While the season has opened some some doors to show some of the black market and the resistance within Gilead, its also relentless depicted June in a state of unrelenting despair. The storyline reached its zenith during The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Episode 9, “Heroic,” during which June was confined to the hospital.

There are still three episodes left in the dystopian drama’s third outing. The latest installment, The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Episode 10, “Witness,” is finally starting to see June put some of her plans into action as she attempts to rescue the stolen children of Gilead.
Earlier this month, the series also scored two Emmy nominations for Cherry Jones and Bradley Whitford as Guest Actor and Actress in a Drama series, respectively.
