We have no idea why Tom needs to consult a psychic on The InBetweenSeason 1 Episode 8, “While The Song Remains The Same.” Fans know his daughter’s experiences communicating with the dead are more real than anyone with a crystal ball and a good imagination.
But based on the preview below he and Cassie need one to help the Seattle Police Force close an unsolved murder case.
Cassie also meets one of her former idols who is now in The InBetween and helps him fix some of his own past mistakes.

Episode description: Tom (Paul Blackthorne) and Damian (Justin Cornwell) investigate the mysterious death of a vibrant young woman while Cassie’s (Harriet Dyer) visions reveal a complicated family story. Cassie also encounters an idol from her childhood in the InBetween and helps him right some past wrongs. (NBC).
