Preview — Take Two Season 1 Episode 8: All About Ava
The case is personal for Sam on Take Two Season 1 Episode 8, “All About Ava.” Her former childhood co-star, Ava Day, dies in a questionable accident. Sam and Eddie are hired to look into the mysterious car wreck to determine if it was an accident at all.
Sam will be challenged to put aside what she remembers of her friend to unveil the truth. This is our first glimpse at Sam’s past and her first-ever TV role. Young Sam is adorable! I love seeing the footage from her early work.
Ava was like an older sister to Sam, and her death will surely have a big impact.
When evidence reveals that Ava may not be the person Sam always thought she was, Sam’s childhood memories will be called into question. It’s never easy to discover that your heroes are simply human. It’s up to Eddie and Sam to find out what Ava was mixed up in and what really happened to her.

Episode description:
Sam takes an unexpected journey into her past when she and Eddie are called on to investigate the seemingly accidental death of Ava Day, star of the ‘90s sitcom “All About Ava,” which featured a 12-year-old Sam in her acting debut as Ava’s little sister. But when the investigation uncovers dark truths about past events, Sam is forced to reconcile her childhood impressions with newly found facts in order to crack the case.
