26 Badass Female Characters We Can’t Get Enough Of - Part 2

26 Badass Female Characters We Can’t Get Enough Of

Arrow, Bones, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Empire, Game of Thrones, How To Get Away With Murder, Lists, Once Upon a Time, Suits

20. Alex Parrish, Quantico

A woman that’s the best at what she does in a predominantly male field; Alex is proof that women can do anything – be anything. And do it well.

19. Jane Villanueva, Jane the Virgin

Jane got a raw deal, and yet, she wasn’t going to let life bring her down, no. She made the best of it. And she was still as badass as before, if not more.

18. Kimmy Schmidt, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

After 15 years of abuse, Kimmy still, somehow, manages to be the nicest, most positive person in any room she’s in. Because life is beautiful. And she’s finally truly living it.

17. Carmilla Karnstein, Carmilla

She isn’t technically on TV, but she gets a pass because she’s not just an old, sometimes grumpy vampire with an attitude, but also, despite her best intentions, somewhat of a hero. And because she’s always, unequivocally, herself. And that’s a lesson we could all learn.

16. Cookie Lyon, Empire

Don’t make any mistake about it, Cookie’s in charge. And she can be tough, sensitive, petty and, at times, even generous. She can also be pretty funny, loving and smart as hell. She’s taking your stereotypes and doing away with them. She is who she is.

15. Peggy Carter, Agent Carter

It doesn’t matter if she has a stapler in hand or one of Howard Stark’s inventions, Peggy Carter knows what she’s doing, and she knows how to save the day. Love interest? Think again. She’s actually a role model.

14. Sarah/Alison/Helena/Cosima/Rachel, Orphan Black

How can I write about just one of them when together they make for this wonderful, complex and dynamic sisterhood? The women of Orphan Black are all one, and they’re all pretty damn badass.

  • Great list, is great to see so many badass females on today’s TV shows!

  • Where is Meredith Grey? She is one of the women more badass with everything that has happened to her!

  • impressive list
I agree with you at all
powerful women are wonderful and my favorite
    Danna scully especially Emma Swan
and my dear Felicity Smoak my favorite

  • Scully was and always will be the best !! Which opened the way for other beautiful, intelligent, professional women with personality. Gillian is the best !!!

  • stana katic”s Beckett is by far the best. She has it all, strength, beauty, integrity honour loyalty and still retains her femininity !

  • Emma Swan hasn’t been badass since Season 2. She’s the anti-Jessica Jones who willingly turned herself into a pathetic doormat for an emotionally abusive man she continually endangers her family to protect and has covered up his murder of an innocent man for which he was never brought to justice but called a hero?? Either you ship C$ or you don’t watch OUAT, because the two links you posted to episode reviews with this article are two of the main episodes last season that defined Emma and her happiness by her inability to live without a douchebag boyfriend, that questioned if she was good enough for a man who has murdered and assaulted women, a man she’d had dated for all of like a month and had just tried to kill her entire family. Shame on you. Jessica Jones, Dana Scully, and many of the women on this list would kick Emma Swan’s butt out of the “badass ladies” club for being a regressive insult to the headway they have made!

  • well complied.wow!!! Felicity. Its tru u don’t hav 2 kick butt 2 be Badass. She’s toooooooo good.

  • Have you not watched the last 3 seasons of OUAT? Emma is no badass. Also Octavia? Ew. Clarke Griffin! Star of The 100 and a total bad ass! O? you’re drunk.
