Grey’s Anatomy: Kim Raver Returning as Series Regular for Season 15

Things about to get way more complicated for Owen Hunt.

At the end of the Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 finale, which also saw the exits of Arizona Robbins and April Kepner, it was revealed that Teddy Altman, who had just returned to ask Bailey for a job, was pregnant.

Now, we know she’s not going anywhere any time soon, as it was announced today that Kim Raver, who plays Teddy Altman on the series, would be returning for Season 15 as a series regular.

“I am thrilled to reprise the role of Dr. Teddy Altman as a regular. Returning to Shondaland with the incredibly talented [showrunner] Krista Vernoff, Ellen Pompeo and the amazing cast is heavenly,” Raver said in a statement.

“I have a special place in my heart for Teddy and feel very lucky to have the opportunity to continue her story,” she continued.

Raver returned to the series in Season 14 after being away for several years.

It’s probably safe to assume that Teddy is pregnant with Owen’s child. The timing, of course, couldn’t be worse, since the finale also paved the way for Owen and Amelia to get back together — as they also help take care of a teenage girl and her baby, which Owen is fostering.

Bailey did have a job when Teddy asked, too, and that job is that of interim chief. So it looks like we have a lot to look forward to from Grey’s Anatomy Season 15.
