Sense8 Season 2 8 Things We Want from the Sense8 Finale! Sense8 Season 2

8 Things We Want from the Sense8 Finale!

Lists, Sense8

Fans rejoiced when the Sense8 finale trailer was released, and while we are feeling bittersweet about having this great show come to an end, the trailer gives us a hint of what is to come for Nomi, Will, Lito, Capheus, Sun, Riley, Kala, and Wolfgang.

The Sense8 family and fandom have never played by the rules, and it is why we are even getting a two-hour special in the first place. Fans from all over the world petitioned Netflix to give us an ending this show deserved — and we are only a few weeks away from that happening.

So, instead of dissecting the action-packed trailer, let’s highlight 8 things we, the fans, want to see in the Sense8 finale.

1. Wolfgang’s Fate Revealed Quickly

Thankfully we see a lot of Wolfgang in the newly released trailer, but that doesn’t always equate to being a good thing.

Are we seeing parts when he connects to his cluster and helps them out? Or are we see him after he escapes and meets up with his cluster?

Firing at enemies, hanging out with his cluster, and even kissing Kala (we are still waiting on their first real kiss), are highlights that we hope lean towards Wolfgang escaping, but his future is uncertain and we need to know soon.

2. Kala Finally Safe

Kala is sent away to Paris because her husband got them involved in a hot mess situation of a political investigation, but ends up rerouting to London to meet up with her cluster to save Wolfgang.

The whole Rajan plot is still very confusing, but now we know that his investigation is endangering his family and Kala. Her safety is one of our top concerns, so we need to find out how it plays out.

Well that and her and Wolfgang finally getting their real first kiss.

3. Capheus’s Political Career Closure

In the Sense8 Season 2 finale, a number of sensates revealed to Capheus that it’s dangerous to be a sensate and run for office.

This added another layer to his story, given the history of his father and his untimely death, so to find out essentially that he should take blockers if he is going to run, knowing it would disconnect him from his own cluster, is a tough position to be in.

This was one of the story-lines that felt it was building for the five season arc that creator Michael Straczynski mentioned in an interview with Collider, so whatever happens, we hope it’ll end in a satisfying way, whether he decides to run or not.

4. Sun’s Possible Romance

Sun needs to be kicking ass, both in life and in business, so why not let her be happy doing it?

One moment in the trailer that catches us by surprise is Detective Mun (pronounced Moon in case you miss the reference) and his appearance in which looked like a kiss with Sun. We hope that this possible romance will be a part of Sun’s redemption and her brother paying for his actions.

Having a handsome detective by Sun’s side might make her internal struggle of whether to avenge her father or keep her promise to her mother, when it comes to Joong-ki, easier.

5. Nomi’s Wedding Bells

Nomi and Amanita are one of the show’s OTP’s.

The proposal from the Season 2 finale was one of the most beautiful and emotional scenes when we see Amanita propose to Nomi only to find out Nomi was planning on proposing as well.

Let’s face it, their relationship is so good and sappy that we don’t want their love to end with just an engagement. The trailer showcases a passionate kiss in India, and while yes, there’s a lot to include in the series finale, we are sure that a wedding finding its way into it will be met with absolute joy.

6. Mythology of the Clusters

There is a lot about clusters that we still don’t know, so we’re hoping that the finale might answer a few of those questions.

We have just begun to see the world of sensates that exist outside of our favorite 8 and given that they are basically an entire species within the human race, maybe we could have some answers.

Why haven’t clusters aligned together before to defeat B.P.O? How are clusters born? Is it a mental thing or a physical thing? For the sake of the fandom’s mental health, we are hoping at least some of the mythology is explained.

7. Another Epic Cluster Battle

We want, no NEED, another epic cluster battle! The first one in Season 2 was legendary and so badass. We (and the show) deserve another one.

Plus, now that the amount of sensates and clusters continue to grow, it would only make sense to have another one.

8. The B.P.O Defeated

I mean, this is sort of a no-brainer.

We often forget that B.P.O. is the villain because we are focused on threats like The Whispers and on the sensates individual moments that make this story great. B.P.O. has always been in the background, and when the trailer features a shot of Wolfgang looking down a row of other sensates, we wonder just how bad things could be.

Can our cluster’s last mission be more than just saving Wolfgang, but saving the future of the sensates population and bringing down B.P.O?

We hope they do and without harming Nomi, Will, Lito, Capheus, Sun, Riley, Kala, and Wolfgang.
