We Might Be Getting a Revival of ‘The Office’
This almost seemed inevitable.
With so many beloved television shows being revived, including the recent returns of Will & Grace, Dynasty, and coming soon — Roseanne, it’s not entirely surprising that the beloved sitcom, The Office, might also be getting revived soon at NBC.
While not confirmed by the network, according to TV Line, NBC is looking at a possible continuation of the series to air during the 2018-2019 season. The continuation would be set once again in Scranton, PA at Dunder Mifflin.
There’s just one catch. It’s also being reported that Steve Carell would not be a part of the revival. The revival would also include a mix of both old and new cast members.
The Office aired for nine seasons, from 2005 to 2013. Steve Carell left the series at the end of the show’s seventh season, but returned for the series finale in 2013.
